Lexie Bassett
VP and Corporate Secretary, PACCNorth CO
Lexie Bassett was born and raised in Manila, Philippines, where her journey began as a barista at Starbucks in Alabang. Like many young professionals, she pivoted into the call center industry, gaining early experience in customer service and operations. In 2010, Lexie moved to the U.S. to follow love and opportunity, living in Northern Virginia for several years and later in Roanoke, VA, before finally planting roots in Denver, Colorado in 2018.
Her professional path has been anything but linear—Lexie has worn many hats, from passenger service agent for Air France-KLM to flight attendant for United Airlines, and later, Catering Operations Manager for Panera Bread. When the pandemic struck, Lexie faced job loss like many others, but she responded with creativity and grit. She launched a home-service hilot practice and began selling handmade crafts, which blossomed into something bigger.
Determined to bring a taste of home to Colorado’s Filipino community, Lexie founded the Mabuhay Pinoy Market with her friend—monthly pop-up events that started humbly in a parking lot with just nine vendors. Under her leadership, the market grew in popularity and community impact, eventually partnering with Crosswind Church to host the events for nearly two years. Proceeds supported both small businesses and church initiatives, turning a simple gathering into a heartfelt celebration of culture and resilience.
Today, Lexie brings that same passion to her role as Chief Fun Officer at RTI, a software company, where she champions workplace culture and connection. Though she’s passed the torch of the pop-up market—now known as One Fil-Am Events—Lexie’s legacy of community-building lives on. Her story is one of heart, hustle, and a deep love for uplifting others.
