The Frontier Awards is the most prestigious award giving body of the world duty and tax free industry. It is considered as the Oscars of the World Travel retail industry. - Board of Director, Asia Pacific Travel Retail Association (APTRA), 2011 to 2016
APTRA is the trade association for the duty free and travel retail industry of the Asia Pacific region. - Recipient of Travel Retail’s Moodie Report’s 2012 “People of the Year” for his contribution to the Asian travel retail industry.
- Among the pioneers of DFPC in 1987 who helped set-up the company’s organizational and operational structure.
- Initiated the creation of DFP CARES, an aggrupation of DFP employees and the international travel retail industry, that implemented programs and activities to help the disaster victims of Super Typhoon Yolanda (Hurricane Haiyan) in 2013. DFP CARES in partnership with SM CARES (and SMDC) was also able to build and turnover more than 25 houses in Tacloban, Leyte in 2016.

Annie Nepomuceno
Annie Nepomuceno now serves as the Vice Chair of the United Chambers of Commerce of San Fernando Valley, California after her term as the “pandemic president” of the Filipino-American Chamber of Commerce of Greater LA. Her tenacity and fearlessness to try new things, paired with “conductor” skills culled from decades as a professional musician, led her to be bestowed with Leadership Awards. She has be recognized by Chambers, the Fil-Am Community as well as being named as one of the San Fernando Valley’s Business Journal’s Valley 200: The Most Influential persons in SFV two years in a row. The Iowa-born turned Angeleno, Nepomuceno has expanded her concert production reach by evolving into Music Arts International, LLC. This partnership with COFACC Founding Member Angelo Varsobia recently produced three cities in the concert tour of superstar Gary Valenciano. As a performing artist, her music releases are available on iTunes, Spotify, et. al.
Ellen Rodriguez-Swing
Ellen is a dedicated accountant, non-profit treasurer, and a Filipino American small business & professional community advocate with nearly two decades of experience in financial management. She earned her Master’s degree in Accounting and owns a business and tax solutions company called Framework Accounting.
As an accountant, Ellen has worked with a variety of business and nonprofit clients. Her expertise includes financial reporting based on US GAAP, tax planning, and budgeting. She has a keen eye for detail and is known for her ability to streamline financial processes and identify cost-saving opportunities.
In her role as a non-profit treasurer, Ellen oversees the financial operations of the organizations and ensures that funds are allocated appropriately. She is responsible for maintaining accurate records of all financial transactions, creating financial reports, and presenting financial statements to the Board of Directors. Her dedication to financial transparency and accountability has earned her the trust and respect of her colleagues and clients alike.
Ellen is a committed Christ follower and is passionate about giving back to her community. She is actively involved in various nonprofit organizations. She currently sits as the President of the Filipino American Chamber of Commerce of Cerritos (FAC3), Senior Director for Finance & Treasury of the Coalition of Filipino American Chambers of Commerce (COFACC), Treasurer of the Filipino American Chamber of Commerce Foundation (FACCF), and Sister Recorder of the University of the Philippines Phi Delta Alpha Sorority- US Chapter (UPPDA-US).
