Dennis Santiago is the CEO of executive consulting firm Lord Santiago LLC. Established in 2021 after Dennis retire from a career as an executive in banking and finance, the company provides executive, analysis, and coaching services to corporations and non-profits. Clients of LS LLC have included Heffernan Insurance, the National Diversity Coalition. Dennis’ firm presently provides Chief Financial Officer services to NEW Community Investments, LLC, a non-profit lender and Chief Operating Officer services to Solify, a solar power industry startup. He provides support to The Hmong Inc, a Fresno based non-profit, and is advising the Filipino American Chamber of Commerce (FACC) Foundation. Dennis and war reporter Hillie McKay also recently started the non-profit Humanizing Global Policy project to do analysis and educational awareness on how national polices affect the lives of ordinary people.
Mr. Santiago has worked with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency’s Project REACH initiative, where he serves on the Homeownership, Small Business, and Minority Depository Institutions committees. Working with Project REACH, Dennis contributed white papers on the use of government assisted shared-equity for LMI and first-time homeownership access. He also worked with NEW to contribute to a white paper on Special Purpose Credit Programs on the use of non-discriminatory applications of SPCP’s for impacted small businesses.
Dennis comes to the non-profit world after a career where he served as the Senior Managing Director of Risk and Compliance for Total Bank Solutions, CEO of bank safety and soundness analysis company, Institutional Risk Analytics, Chief Technology Officer of Telescan, Inc, and Senior Vice President at Data Broadcasting Company, in addition to many other roles.
Dennis has been involved in the community since 1992 when he first worked with Rebuild LA and later with Los Angeles area law enforcement agencies to help develop Community Policing. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from UC Irvine and an MBA from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA.
